The client is a logistics coordination specialist based in the United States, connecting a network of logistics firms. They specialize in managing international freight and cargo shipments of all types, ensuring timely and efficient delivery across borders through streamlined global transportation. With expertise in handling complex logistics challenges, the client sought to enhance their digital efficiency with IoT technology. They had a new requirement to implement this technology, supported by a team of dedicated specialists.

The Problem

The client wanted to gather freight/cargo data for supply chain analysis through a connected logistics data collection network regarding freight/cargo units using IoT technology. This will allow them with managed device/sensor connections to monitor logistics units internationally, enabling access to important data across the supply chain. The IoT-enabled devices and services should provide real-time location tracking and monitoring of environmental conditions to improve their supply chain efficiency. The solution should also be implemented with robust security measures and should be capable of integration with different types of systems.

The Solution
